Hasebenebi was extremely giving, kind and compassionate, very appreciative of every opportunity. The Patient Experience Team at LHSC is very saddened to hear of his sudden passing. We are very thankful to have worked with him in his Patient Advisor Volunteer Role . He was so passionate in working with health care teams, including the Renal Program, and the UH Perioperative Program.

I am so very sorry to hear about HB. He was a very special person. He gave out so much joy and kindness and caring to all of who knew him at Westmount dialysis. I was able to communicate with him a couple of times when he was in hospital via email and he remained so positive about the wonderful care he was receiving. My condolences to you, his family. He will be greatly missed!

Hb had a warm and generous spirit. He always enthusiastically shared his appreciation of the care he received. His positive attitude and insight were invaluable as a member of the
Renal Patient and Family Committee.
My condolences to his family for this great loss.

I loved HB’s spirit. He had a contagious positivity to those around him and to whom he served being their advocate. He was truly an amazing soul.
