Peacefully and surrounded by love, John slipped into his final slumber at Parkwood Hospital, on November 1, 2014 in his 85th year.
John said his final farewell as a loving father to Laurie (Les) Tooth, Cindy Cummings and Shawna (Danny) Marocco.
He is now reunited with his wife Patricia, who he lost 32 years ago.
Proud Grandpa to Mike, Rob and Beth Tooth, and David and Lita Marocco. A veteran of the Korean War, John retired as a Master Warrant Officer in 1982. He is survived by his brothers Boyne and Alan, sisters Elizabeth and Jessie, sister-in-law Maude and brother-in-law Bill (Nancy) Murney, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
John loved spending time at the cottage where he could best enjoy his family and friends.
A private family celebration of life is to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkwood Veterans Hospital London ON.
