John De Forest

DEFOREST, John Leslie of London passed away peacefully at University Hospital on April 10, 2017 in his 92nd year. Loving husband of the late Bernice DeForest. Dear father of Susanne (late Joseph) Husband, William (late Brenda) DeForest, David (Karen) DeForest, Christine (late Bob) Mardlin, and Beatrice DeForest. John was the beloved son of the late Hazel DeForest and loving brother to Beatrice (late Nick) Ennis and the late Charlene Miller. Survived by 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. John was employed for 32 years with the City of London and was a long standing member of CUPE Local 107. John enjoyed many happy years of hunting and fishing. Family and friends may gather for visitation at Needham Funeral Service at 520 Dundas Street, London, Ontario on Monday April 17, 2017 from 2- 4pm & 7-9pm. Funeral Service on Tuesday April 18, 2017 at 12 pm in the Needham Funeral Home Chapel. Private interment. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of Canada.
