With great sadness in our hearts, we announce the sudden passing of our beloved J.P. on May 1, 2011 at the age of 36. Most cherished and beloved son of Marika and Paul Regan. Devoted and loving brother of Cathy. Dear Grandson and best friend of George Sandor (1994). Nephew of Grant and Mary Stevens of Kingston. J.P. was a provincially recognized speaker on issues faced by people with disabilities. He was a founding member of Community Living London’s New Vision Advocates and has been an ambassador for promoting the rights and equality of people with intellectual disabilities. He has given hundreds of presentations to various community groups, elementary and secondary schools, College and University students as well as conference participants throughout Ontario. J.P worked tirelessly to educate others about equal rights, citizenship and acceptance. His good natured spirit, sense of humour and kindness, made him a sought after speaker at many forums.
