Perry Cecil Green

GREEN, Perry Cecil - Passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving partner Sue and his siblings. He was born on December 21,1958, and died on September 2, 2014. Predeceased by mother who is waiting with open arms, Muriel Green, September 10,1996. Also predeceased by his grandparents Myra Briglia, Cecil Atwell, Henry and Mabel Green and great niece Alyssa, 2011. Perry will be missed dearly by Sue, his friend and soul mate. Loving son of Willard and Marion Green. He will be sadly missed by his siblings; Susan (Ron), Danny (Anita), Judy (Mike), Carolyn (Eugene), Ginny (Ken), Robin (Chris) and Randy. Loved by many nieces and nephews, Corey, Shawn, Ryan, Amanda, Michelle, Nathan, Jordan, Casey, Darren, Tammy, Josh, Breanna and Will. Perry will also be missed by many great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He will also be sadly missed by Sue’s family, Margaret and Joseph. Perry was a very gentle soul with a passion for fishing at Port Franks and an avid Nascar fan. He always welcomed anyone dropping by with a cold bottle of Canadian beer. He loved his cats and will be missed by Midnight, Blackie and Leo. Perry’s prize possession was his car, a BMW, and he left strict instructions that Sue, the love of his life, be the only person to ever drive it. We were blessed with Sue coming into Perry’s life several years ago. Her love and compassion for Perry was ongoing, and Perry said that “Their love will be ‘til eternity.” Perry kept his wit and sense of humor until the very end. Perry was a long time employee of CP and Speedy Transport. He and his brother Randy were fondly known as “The Green Boys.” Many thanks to the excellent staff at Victoria Hospital Palliative Care. Their warmth and compassion helped us through a most difficult time. Friends and family will be received at Needham Funeral Service, 520 Dundas St., London on Thursday September 4th, 2014 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. Service in our chapel at 2pm Friday September 5th, 2014.
