Ruth Shepherd

Passed away peacefully on the 30th of July, in her 101st year. Beloved wife of Harold (2004) for 63 years. Loving mother to Dale, Bill (2009) and Kristin. Grandmother of Kelley, Stephen, Jessica, Patrick, Katharine, Bill, Shale, Riley, and Loren. GeeNana to Tenai, Joshua, Holly, Mackenzie, Terra-Mae, Tom, Sam, Elliott, Levis, Mabel, Lillian, Rudy, Arthur, Henry, Thayne, and Gwendolyn. Great great grandma to Clementine and Juniper.

Ruth was born in Selkirk Manitoba and grew up in Wynyard Saskatchewan. Ruth moved to London as a supportive wife and mother of 3 small children when Harold secured a job with the newly opened General Motors Diesel plant. A transfer to Detroit Diesel had them in the USA for 38 years. Ruth moved back to London to live with Kristin after Harold’s death where she continued to enjoy sewing and knitting and being close to her family.

Cremation has taken place and the family will celebrate her life when restrictions permit.
