Sharon Lynn McIntosh
April 23, 1948 – July 3, 2019
Sharon Lynn McIntosh (nee Bland) Sharon passed peacefully on July 3, 2019, in the loving arms of her four daughters. Sharon was a light that her daughters Catherine, Karen (Alan), Kristine (Shawn), and Laura (Jon) were blessed to share with this world. Her grandchildren Brianna, Chase, Zachary, Rylan, Jackson, and Mikaela brought her immeasurable joy. Her love for them knew no bounds.
Sharon leaves behind her stepmother Lenore; sisters Sandra (Harold), and Patricia (Dave); and brother John (Mary-Lou). She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Sharon was born on April 23, 1948, in Andover New Brunswick, destined to be a source of strength and courage for those who knew her. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, a beloved daughter and a faithful sister. Sharon was also a dedicated volunteer, trusted advisor, and a true and loyal friend. She faced obstacles with a sense of wit and sarcasm, selflessly providing levity and comfort to those she encountered on her journey.
Sharon’s father Scott and her mother Dorothy Jean have welcomed her to Heaven, where she will plant a garden, knit with nimble fingers, dance among the stars, cast her fishing pole once again, and bask in the glowing sun. Sharon is loved to the moon and back.
Friends and loved ones will be welcomed at Needham Funeral Service at 520 Dundas Street in London for a time of visitation and fellowship on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 11, 2019, at First-St. Andrew’s United Church at 350 Queens Avenue in London. Reception to follow. Thereafter, Sharon will make her final trip to Harris Street Cemetery Memorial in Ingersoll for burial.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Renal Patient Assistance Fund at London Health Sciences Centre or Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides would be appreciated.

We will always remember, with great fondness, those days of friendship that we shared as neighbours, on Lysanda Ave.
Sharon was an inspiration, her dedication and love of her family was exceptional and we are so blessed to have known her ❤️
