Loving mother-in-law to Susan Johnston and very special grandmother “Gram” to Kealey Johnston, Gillian Johnston, Libby (Louis) Price and to Marianne Szalay and Kealey Gregory. Great grandmother to Shay Price and Paige Price.

Predeceased by beloved husband Angus and son Claire.

Valentine is remembered as a person of deep faith and lived her life serving others, young and old. Her generosity and kindness toward everyone were exceptional.

A long-time member of Hyatt Avenue United Church, she was very involved in all church activities including the choir and the United Church Women. She was a tireless volunteer for many organizations….such as driving for Meals on Wheels and ushering at the Grand Theatre.

She and Angus were keen travelers and spent many happy days touring in their cozy camper-trailer.

Auntie Vay will be sadly missed by her wonderful and devoted Nancy Hines and her family, all her nieces and nephews, and her many many friends whose lives she touched.

Heartfelt thanks to the entire staff at Maple View Terrace for their constant concern and care.

A visitation will take place on March 24th, 2022 at 1pm at Needham Funeral Service (520 Dundas Street) with a Memorial Service to follow beginning at 2pm.
