Violet E. McLean

On Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at the age of 74, Violet Evelyn McLean passed away at Victoria Hospital with her husband and children by her side. Family was Violet's whole life and she was blessed to have the love of Bob, her husband of 54 years, and her five children, Nancy Wells (Steve), Trudy Sweetzir (Randy), Terri Sheridan (Ray), Wendy Smith (James), and Bobby McLean (Gen). Cherished Grandma to Andy, Matt (Angela), Shelley, Brian (Rae), Kristy (Rob), Michael (Leah), Melissa, Darren (Bobbi-Jo), Kassie, Justin and Jonny. Great Grandma to Stephen and Miranda. Loving sister to Sam and Joanne Taylor and Maureen and Norman Marshall. Reunited in heaven with her parents Evelyn and Alfred Lavoie, her sister Eileen Taylor and her brothers Robert and Victor Taylor. The funeral has taken place and Violet is laid to rest in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. The family would like to thank the Palliative Care Unit at Victoria Hospital for their care and support and would ask that any donations be made to this program.
