Walter grew up near Ingersoll, Ontario. He graduated from Ingersoll High school in 1977 and spent some time working on the family mushroom farm where he became very skilled at operating various types of equipment. Walter worked a number of years in construction and also studied hard to become an investment advisor but his most recent occupation brought him back to his roots as a very skilled machinery operator at Paul Brown Excavating.
His spare time was spent restoring classic vehicles and the creativity and hard work that went into them was incredible. Walter’s honest, no-nonsense attitude and good sense of humor will be deeply missed by his friends, family and co-workers.
Cremation has taken place, and interment will take place at a later date in St. Peter's Cemetery.
