Carol Renee Pudewa

Carol Renee Pudewa Carol walked into the arms of the Lord on April 28, 2010. She was the loving wife of husband, Paul Pudewa,and not only a mother to her own sons, Ronald and Brandon, but also to her nephew, Manuel and nieces, Renee and Larissa, grandmother to Kameron and Christopher, godmother to Luke Williams, and the beloved daughter of Armando and Angelita Padilla; sister to Jose, Maria, Carlos, Antonio, Angelita and very special nieces and nephews. She had numerous relatives and many caring friends. Carol was born September 19, 1960, in Tucson, Arizona and raised in La Puente, California. She was a passionate reader, a huge classic rock music fan, loved her wonderful dog, Rusty, and cats, Cuda and Fluffy. She was an avid RV adventurer with her soul mate and husband, Paul, of 14 years, in the Circle City Campers RV Club. Carol attended Nogales High School in La Puente. She worked as a Telecommunications Manager for a number of years in the southland. Carol will be forever remembered for her unwavering support and love of family and friends. Viewing will be May 5, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a Rosary Service at 7 p.m. at Luyben Family Dilday-Motell Mortuary, 5161 Arbor Road, Long Beach, CA 90808. Funeral Mass will be celebrated May 6 at 10 a.m. at St. Cornelius Catholic Church, 5500 E. Wardlow Road, Long Beach, CA 90808. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or ASPCA.
