If you remember me, remember the good times. If I ever hurt you and never had the chance to make it right, please accept my apology. I had to answer for everything I did and didn’t do, and now I pray that God will bring healing where I could not.

To my children: I love you, I miss you, and I am so proud of the lives you are building despite my shortcomings. Thank you for loving me back. I know it wasn’t always easy and sometimes it was crazy, but your love meant everything to me.

To my mom: I love you, and I know you loved me too.

To everyone else: I hope I was able to feed you, encourage you, and make you laugh. Remember those moments. In the final days of my earthly life, I was moving forward, owning my story, and finding hope again — thanks to all of you. “’Member?!”

Now I wait in Heaven, where I will see you again one day. Until then, live the amazing life God has given you. You have purpose. Don’t give up. I never did.
