Elisabeth Weedon, 84, of Long Beach, Ca went home to be with the Lord on Monday June 1st, 2015. She was born in Germany on April 29, 1931. She met the love of her life while she was still living in Germany and married her husband Bill “Slim” Weedon on October 16th, 1948. She spent a number of years proudly serving as a dedicated staff member to the Long Beach Junior Concert Band. She had a great love for music which she loved to share with her family and friends.
She is survived by her brother Peter Loew and his family in Germany, son Bart, son in law John Rivers Sr, grandson JJ and wife Jessica and their children Ariel, David and Mayson, grandson Billy, granddaughter Amber and her husband Adam and their son Alex, granddaughter Tanya as well as other extended family members.
Her memorial service will be held at El Dorado Park Church which she was a member of for many years at 3655 N Norwalk Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90808 on Saturday June 27th, 2015 at 3pm. A reception will follow the service.
