To those I love, when I am gone, release me, let me go. You mustn't tie yourself to me with tears. Just be happy that we had so many years. I gave you my love, you can only guess, how much you gave to me in happiness. I thank you for the love you all have shown, but now it’s time I traveled alone. So, grieve a while for me, if grieve you must, then let your grief be comforted by trust. It’s only for a while that we must part, bless the memories within your heart. I won’t be far away, for life goes on, if you need me, call, and I will come. Though you can’t see or touch me, I’ll be near and if you listen with your heart, you’ll hear all of my love around you, loud and clear. Then, when you must come this way alone, I’ll greet you with a smile, and say, “Welcome Home”.

To Ellis T. Spillmans a.k.a E it's crazy to sit here and think that you are actually gone you was always so happy and always had a smile on your face laughing about something. I remember being a child and falling off my bike and no one was around to see except for you and a couple of your buddies, but you stopped what you were doing with them walked over helped me up dusted my elbow off and said it's going to be okay try again and ever since then I haven't fallen off of a bike . Thank you E. Rest Peacefully until we meet again.

Ellis....We are all hurting. You were a solid friend. So many good memories of you as a real one from picking my daughter up to play with Demonte and Elexiss, to the partying at the Dogg House. Been praying for your parents, siblings, children, grandchildren , Dawn, Ree and the entire Spillman and Long Beach family since last week and will continue. Rest easy bro! You are a true legend and will definately be missed.

I grew up with you, you are the Uncle to my cousin, our parents used to party together and all of us kids would be in the room playing. You were taken from us too soon and we are hurting as a family and a community, but your memory will live forever. Rest well Ellis Jr. and Prayers to Spillman Family💙

Ellis was such a blessing to know. His smile was so pleasing. He was well respected and could always get me out of a bad mood. He introduced me to things in life that I would have never though I would experience. I have so many precious memories about Ellis. His spirit is still around. He is watching over us all. Thank you for allowing me to meet your son, he will surely have a place in my heart. So sorry for your lost. He was very well mannered and best dressed, Love you Ellis.

In memory of you forever and beyond.

Ellis my childhood friend, my sons hear stories of us playing in the neighborhood riding bikes, playing football on the street in front of the house, of you popping a wheelie around the block. Of all the foolish things we did as kids. Growing up with our families as friends and neighbors was great. Thank you for the memories and the smiles and hugs you gave no matter how long time passed since we had seen each other. Going to miss you.
