John Langit

On July 1, 2015 at 2:45am John Langit went to be with his heavenly Father after losing his battle with cancer. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He served in the United States Navy for 20 years. He worked for Mc Donald Douglas Air Craft, and Garrett Air Research. John was the local crossings guard at Del Amo Elementary for 11 years. He retired from being crossings guard June of this year. He was loving known by the school children as “Grandpa”. He is preceded in death by his parents, Emilio and Emilia Tandoc Langit, his brother, Dading Langit and grandson, Alexander Julian Rickett. John is survived by his loving wife Trudy Langit, his children Toni (Eric) Rickett, Elly (Chad) Lorenzana, and John (Dulce) Langit. His legacy will live on with his eight grandchildren, Cody Rickett, Sean Rickett, Matthew Rickett, Briana Lorenzana, Julian Lorenzana, Kiyoshi Lorenzana, AJ Langit, and Andrea Langit. He is also survived by his sisters, Florencia Ferreria, Veronica Ocampo and his brothers, Manuel Langit, and Primo Langit.
