Sareap Sao, 63, passed away peacefully on January 10,2025, with her husband by her side at City of Hope. Cancer took her away from us too soon. Sareap Sao was born on March 2, 1961, in Banteay Meanchey Providence of Cambodia. She was a kind, sweet woman who had been battling cancer since 2018. First with breast cancer. Then, in August 2023, she was diagnosed with leukemia (Mixed Phenotype Acute Leukemia to be exact). She tried her best and fought a good battle to the very end. She was married to Sokha Tan on October 18, 1986 and had 3 beautiful children. Sareap Sao is survived by her husband, 3 children (Sokvida, Rosevilla and Madelane), 2 grandchildren (Mila and Levi). Sareap Sao spent her recent remaining months in the company of her loving family.

and tears in our eyes

That we lay her down to rest

And say our last goodbyes
