Madalyne C. Ursano

Madalyne Ursano, longtime Long Beach resident and businesswoman, passed away at age 90 on January 13, 2012. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa and moved to Long Beach in 1956. While devoted to her family and community, she founded Capri Realty in 1964, and served on the St. Mary Medical Center Foundation Board and Musical Theatre West Board of Trustees. Madalyne is survived by her married children, Lori and Carl Viola, Julie and Paul St. John, and Peter and Joanne Ursano. Grandchildren include Anthony Ursano, Steven St. John, Lauren and Jordan McKinley, Daniel St. John, Tommy Ursano, Michael Viola and great granddaughter Selah McKinley. Madalyne's siblings include Mrs. Genevieve Porto and Dr. Donald Greco. A rosary will take place at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Long Beach at 7 pm and a Mass will follow on Wednesday at 10 am.
