Mary grew up in Long Beach and attended St Cornelius Catholic School. She graduated from Serrano High School in Wrightwood, and graduated from Redlands College of Nursing School in 1996. Mary is the youngest daughter of the late Gerald E Burke and the late Josephine A Burke both of Long Beach. Mary is lovingly remembered by her three brothers, Patrick and Joseph of Long Beach, Paul of Coppell Texas, and two sisters, Margaret of Long Beach and Anne of Phelan California.
