

Tess Keckeisen, 84, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away April 15, 2010 after a long battle with cancer. She was born on a farm in St. George, Minnesota, January 14, 1926, to Henry and Mamie Biebl. After graduating from Trinity High School in New Ulm, Minnesota, she worked as a beautician. Tess met Willard (Bill) Keckeisen at a dance in New Ulm. They were married in 1950, and shortly thereafter moved to Long Beach, CA. Tess was a dedicated homemaker and mother of four wonderful boys. She loved to play poker, her organ, and was famous for her deviled eggs. She was a charter member of and made tireless contributions to St . Joseph's Catholic Church in Long Beach. She enjoyed painting, and a variety of arts and crafts. Tess is survived by her husband, Bill; her four sons, Mark (Mo), Warren (Debbie), Brian (Denise) and Tim (Debbie); nine grandchildren; brothers, Herb and LaVern Biebl; sister, Marion Palmer; sister-in-law, Evie Biebl; as well as many nieces and nephews. The family requests in lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Cancer Society , or your favorite charity in her honor.
