Michael Jon Cusick

Michael Jon Cusick passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 29, 2012. He was born in Los Angeles, California on November 9, 1947 to parents James and Catherine Cusick. Mike grew up in Lakewood, California with his brothers; Jim, Fran, Art, Dan and John, as well as his sisters; Janice and Patty. He met his wife of 43 years, Barbara and moved to Cerritos, California where they raised their daughters Bobbi and Joni. Mike was a devoted family man and most precious to his heart were his four grandchildren; Branden, Austin, Ashlyn and Mikey. He was their number one fan! On any given day you could find Mike on the sidelines cheering them on to victory or consoling them in defeat. He was a great husband, devoted father and grandfather, beloved family member, coach and truly special friend. To honor his memory the family is hosting a "Celebration of Life" on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 2:00 pm at 4427 Sunfield, Long Beach, CA 90808
