So sorry to hear about the loss of Patrick. I knew him from church when we were in high school and from school at Jordan. RIP Patrick. Thoughts and prayers to you and yours.

Patrick was a very awesome person. My grandson Michael was born with the same thing Patrick has. He helped Michael to see that he didn't have to be embraced of the scares that he had from his surgerys and that he was special. Michael took a liking to Patrick he felt a condition to him and always when he talked about him he would say Patrick my friend. So sorry for your loss hope it makes things a little easier known what an impact he had on other peoples lives

I was fortunate to tell Patrick one last time that I loved him, much more than I that Christ Loved him much more. 
His hope...Our hope is in Christ Jesus through God's grace and mercy provided salvation to those who receive Him and believe in His name.
God's word in 2 Corinthians 5 provides assurance of the Resurrection.
To Mary Ann and James and Patrick's wife and children...may the Lord be your strong tower and refuge and strength. May you find that peace the surpasses all understanding.

Sam, I know u havent heard much from me but Im so full of emotions I cant express them... I just wish all this was not true but I have to believe god has a plan for all of us and Patrick really fullfilled his.. think of all the people he touched it is the most Amazing thing I have ever seen..  My sadness for u and the kids is deep in my heart and it will be hard for a long long time for u.. I believe god has plans for u and the kids that u will come to know in the future and Patrick will live in u and the kids for your whole life's. It's so sad to see Patrick's face and realize that he is gone...but never to be forgotten.  I can understand how hard it must be for you, Mary Ann, and Patrick's wife and kids, to have lost one you all loved so much.  I pray that God will give you peace through all this, and know that we are thinking of you and loving you through this time.

Dear Carroll family, I found Patrick's Long Road Ahead on FB and followed your days for his new heart.  During the process I realized he was a member of Marvin Marker's family.  A day didn't go by that I didn't check on your progress; Sam - you have undying strength and a precious love for Patrick and your family.  My heart pours out love for you all...words cannot fathom how the past few months have been;  I wish you peace, and healing through this difficult time.  May God continue to hold you in his healing hands.  OBST Patrick....I know that the gates of heaven opened with love upon your arrival.  Love to your family...you are indeed cherished by those that you love you.

I "knew" Patrick from the Facebook page set up to chronicle his heart transplant and recovery. Little did any of us know as we liked his page right before his surgery that the journey was going to have this ending. His fight was inspiring and my heart goes out to his family and friends. God bless all of you during this time of sorrow.

I am so grateful that Facebook allowed so many of us Golenor's to reconnect and get to know each other. Nite Nite Patrick, be at peace forever...

I remember the day Patrick was born; his family lived across the street from my family and it was 1975. I was 13. His dad came rushing across the street, so happy, and he knocked on our door and shouted, "I had a boy! I have a baby boy!" I was the oldest of 5 children and I saw Patrick grow up and he was always a good kid; never a problem at all. He would come over and hang out with my brother and he LOVED to eat my mom's tacos. Sometimes he'd come over when we'd have barbeques during the summer and he was always so funny and sweet. I saw him grow up, graduate from high school, get married, move up north, and have a beautiful family. When I signed on to Facebook in 2009 we immediately "friended" each other and caught up on what was going on in each others lives. He was truly one of the kindest, sweetest, most easy-going guys I have ever known, and I feel so blessed to have known him. His mom, Mary, his wife, Sam, and his precious children, Robbie and Jazzlyn, will forever be in my thoughts and prayers. My parents still live across the street from Patrick's mom. May Patrick rest in peace.

I never had the chance to meet Patrick, but always considered him a friend. We will all miss him for everything he has done in the monster truck community. R.I.P. my friend.

Patrick I am so sorry you never got to fully live a healthy life. I will always remember you for your making fun of my football team pick on facebook. I wish I had met you. If you fought this hard to live you must have been a hard working and strong man. I can only hope to be as strong as you were. I wish the best for your beautiful wife and children and hope they know they will never be completely alone because you will always be there in spirit with them. I remember when Patrick friend requested me on Facebook...and I thought  WOW...another young person like me waiting for a heart.  I didn't feel so alone!!  That is when I began to follow his journey to transplant.  What a fighter he was!!!  He inspired me to keep fighting and keep the faith that one day I will receive the heart that I desperately needed.  I am still waiting....but with a heavier heart. My transplant brother, my friend is gone. My condolences to the family, I read every post and witnessed every emotion via online.  May Jesus wrap his loving arms around his wife and children during this time of sorrow.  Rest in Peace my buddy.

We sat together in the ICU waiting room hoping and praying for a successful outcome. Your courage, the patience and courage of your mother-in-law, your grace, humor, and devotion, stand as a beacon for me and so many who know you. Your children are a tribute to you and your children. Gayle Y., a mutual friend has kept me abreast of Patrick's struggles over the years.  I was so praying for a good outcome for Patrick, but, sometimes our prayers aren't answered the way that we want them answered.  "Those who live in the Lord never see each other for the last time."  When the time comes for those of you left behind; you, his wife Samantha and his kids, to leave this earthbound life, know that Patrick will be stretching out his hand to you to walk with you in Paradise.

Dear Patrick, I hope it is as Wonderful in Heaven, as it is explained to be.  I have been watching my father suffer needing a Liver and a kidney, with complication, He can't have the surgery.  It's very sad. I am so glad you are no longer suffering, those machines scare the hell out of me!  I know I don't know you in person, but trust me when it come's to donor wishes, I care care care!

I am so sorry for the loss of Patrick. I said many prayers for God to heal him and he did. Although it was not our wishes. He has been healed. A Heavenly healing. A new body without pain or suffering. I pray for strength for his wife and 2 children. I too, being a widow know the emptiness and lost feeling of losing a husband and a father. May God bring you comfort and peace.

I am incredibly saddened to hear this news. I met Patrick at a fundraiser last year. Transplant is not easy. I had a double lung transplant last year and it was not without complications. My prayers are with his family.

Patrick you touched so many lives, can't believe you are gone. You will be missed dearly. My thoughts & prayers continue for Samantha,Robbie,Jazzy and all your family and friends as we all try to adjust to life without you.
