My thoughts and prayers to Paul's family and dear friends.  I met Paul when I was a little girl at St. Eugene's elementary school. Our friendship grew through the years...especially because Paul's sister Barbara has been my best friend since childhood.  Paul always made me feel special.  He laughed with us, spent time with us, and teased us. How Paul tolerated two silly teens is beyond me!  I will miss Paul calling me "Mo'reen the Mo'ron."  It was a term of endearment and said with love.  I wanted to be part of the Summers family, and Paul treated me like a sister.  I will be forever grateful to Mr. & Mrs. Summers and the Summers family.  Paul, bless you....you will be missed.  Love you!

Russell and I will miss all the good times and conversations we had with Paul.  He was truly a remarkable man.

Paul Summers, one of the best friends I have ever had.  From our first meeting in March of 1997 to have banana splits, to our last meal together 2 weeks ago at the Park Pantry, I feel blessed to have had you in my life. So many wonderful memories I will cherish always. I have never felt such sadness in my life and miss you so much it hurts.  We talked on the phone almost every day for the past 15 years and it's hard to adjust to not hearing that beautiful “HEY”.
Thanks for having the greenest thumb of anyone I know.  Thanks for helping me with all of the estate sales I held for clients and for the referrals of your clients.  Thanks for the trips to Dallas, San Francisco, Mexico and Palm Springs.  Thanks for going with me and being there when I had my medical procedure 9 years ago.  Thanks for the fun and laughs when we got to hang out at the beach, restaurants, clubs, the movies, concerts, your house, my house, in the car, to support me in my comedy shows. Thanks for finding a duplex for my Sister, Buddy and I and helping us sale it before the market crashed.  Thanks for sharing the stories of your family and life.  Thanks for listening when I needed to vent or cry or laugh or just talk. Thanks for letting me live with you the past couple of years. You truly are a life inspiration.  Because of you, I now have been blessed with meeting your family, some childhood friends and some former co-workers. Thanks for bringing your fiends closer together. You know better than anyone, my life is about living to the fullest and being funny.  For a while although on the outside I may be smiling, in the inside I am crying so hard it hurts.

No matter whether you knew Paul for several years or several days, he touched everyone's life in a positive way.  We enjoyed his visits when he would come to Phoenix with our uncle.  We would sit around the table and talk all night---laughing and sharing stories.  We will miss him and the light be brought into our lives.

Het is moeilijk om in een andere taal je emotie te vertalen, daarom doe ik dat niet. Ik heb Paul jaren geleden door Henny en Andy ontmoet, en hij heeft altijd een speciaal plekje in mijn hart gehad. De laaste keer dat ik Paul heb gezien, was tijdens onze vakantie Hamburg. Onbegrijpelijk dat hij er niet meer is. Ik zal hem missen.

 I knew Paul for many, many years...we became great friends and traveled to Europe many times with Andy-the three of us became known as the Three Musketeers..........Andy and I had moved to Amsterdam when he came to visit us last year--the last time we saw him...He was the kindest man I think I have ever met...He will be missed by many people here in the Netherlands as well as a good friend in Poland.

I was shocked to hear of his passing!!! I loved his laugh, his smile and his friendship over the years. He will be greatly missed and has left a hole in my heart!  I love u Paul .

Paul who I always referred to as my big brother,and he to me as his little brother when we traveled to Europe many times[7 times].Had fun and many great adventures,but the one I remember most was the trip to Bohemia where his family roots were, he really enjoyed that so much we went there twice.Will always be ever so moved that he was so overcome by his emotions that he became speechless in toasting us at my wedding where is was our best man,he will always be thought of as one of the best friends one could ever hope for,as he was ever so kind.Missing you ..love Andy Lopez...writing from Amsterdam

What do you say about this beautiful man? He was a wonderful & dear friend, always interesting, in love with life, loved to travel (we shared many stories & adventures) & I admired him so very much. For the past 3 yrs. he gave me a Li Bien ornament for my tree at Christmas which I shall cherish forever. He was so kind, so funny, so bright & intelligent, & so gorgeous to look at! I shall miss this dear man.

I am so sorry to hear of Pauls passing.  Paul was with us just 2 weeks ago at a old office reunion I was so happy that he came.He saw many of his old friends. Paul loved to travel, we both loved to talk about our trips to Europe Paul thought that  Prague was the best destinations in Europe.s I am so sorry and I will miss him.
