Rim Kourn Hourt

Rim Kourn Hourt, lovingly known to us as Ma, passed away surrounded by her loving family on september 4, 2026, at the age of 80.

Born in Battambang, Cambodia, Ma was a woman of incredible strength and resilience. After the hardships of war, she and her husband, Loeuth, came to this country to build a better life for their family . Together, they shared 60 years of marriage and built a beautiful family.

Ma was a devoted mother to her 3 children, Lioeu Hourth, Ly Hourth, Linn Hourth Vigilant, a grandmother to 11, and a great-grandmother. She opened both her home and her heart to her grandchildren, raising them with love and devotion.

They were truly fortunate to have of growing up by her side, surrounded by her unwavering love.

She loved her garden, her fresh fruits and vegetables, and most of all, cooking for the people she loved. Her food filled our hearts, her home was always a place were we felt safe, welcomed and loved.

Ma's greatest gif was her love for her family. Her strength, kindness, and love will live on in all of us and in every generation that follows.

We love you, Ma. Thank you for everything you sacrificed, giving us a lifetime of love, and memories.

You will forever be in our hearts.
