Bob, 74, of Long Beach, was a beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Teri and sons, Ronald and Robert, daughter, April Daskalas, six grandchildren, two half-sisters Denise Ronalter and Shelly Shrock. He was born to his late parents Elgie C. Bryan and Violet Thompson on February 21, 1939 in Flint, Michigan. He and his late brother, Ronald, moved to Galveston, Texas as young boys and eventually made their way west to California. He served in the Army in Germany as a communication specialist. His career was a purchasing agent for 30 years. He was very active in his son's schools, 13 years PTA, Wilson High School scholarship president, co-president of the Art Craft Manor Neighborhood Association, and Long Beach CERT program lead. He was most often found behind a video camera filming family, school and neighborhood events. All will miss his smiling face and generous spirit. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Luyben Family Dilday-Mottell Mortuary, 5161 Arbor Rd., in Long Beach.
