

Samith was born in Battambang, Cambodia on January 30, 1949. She migrated to the United States in 1981. The bulk of her career was spent in the textile and clothing industry. She retired at an early age and spent her time gardening, watching Khmer cooking channels on YouTube, Wrestling (WWF) and was an avid Lakers fan.
Samtih Khav was known for her giving heart and made sure she did “Bon” and took care of her siblings back home in Cambodia. She also helped sponsor many family members from Cambodia to the United States.
Samith Khav is survived by her five children (Emily Naryphal Simieng, Sabrina Kunthea Kong, James Vannak Kong, Sandy Kunthy Turner and Keomonyruthia Kong), their spouses (Bunthai Simieng, Chenda Chan Kong and Donald Lewis Turner Jr.) and seven grandchildren (Nathan Bunrith Simieng, Brendan Krisna Simieng, Audrey Keorachana Kong, Makarah Emoni Turner, Brenda Sotheara Simieng, Kemoni Monai Turner and Alexander Jaya (AJ) Kong).
She was preceded in death by her parents (Moeurk Khav and Lath Pen), husband (Chhunna Kong) and two children (Sopheak Kong and Sinoun Kong).
She will be missed and forever live in our hearts!
