Virginia L. Buck

Virginia "Jenny" Buck passed away at age 76. She was born on June 27, 1935 in Kansas City, Mo and died August 30, 2011 in Long Beach Ca in her home with her family at her side. She is survived by her one and only love of her life, husband, Clarence A. Buck Jr., they were married 57 years; her daughters Shirley Diane York (Richard), Pamela Buck (Steve York); grandchildren Samuel Jacobs and Angela Wienczkowski; sisters Norma Gerstner and Marie Downey.

She was a devoted homemaker, wife and mother. Her "job" was to take care of her family and home which she did selflessly, never asking anything for herself - always giving to others even through years of illness and suffering. Viewing will be held at Luyben's Mortuary in Long Beach on Saturday September 3rd, 2011 from 1-3pm. Services held at Faith Church in Norwalk Ca on September 6, 2011 at 10am. She will be dearly missed and was an inspiration to all.
