Rev. William H. Hansley

Reverend Wiliam Henry Hansley was born May 29th, 1931. He was born to the late Vinette Hansley and Walter Sidberry. He was educated within the public-school system of Williston Industrial High School, Wilmington, North Carolina. Reverend Hansley left North Carolina at an early age and came to New York, where he might find work. After a short stay in New York, he was employed by the department of Hospitals, where he worked for 37 years, and retired from the department. In the year of our lord 1973, Reverend Hansley joined the greater Trinity Baptist Church where the late Reverend Adam William Wright was pastor. After nine years of laboring in the vineyard of the Lord, he was ordained to the Deacon Ship. Continuing the working for the lord, he was made superintendent of the Sunday School. In 1975, he was made chairman of the Board of Trustees and remained as chairman until 1987. It was then he answered his calling to the ministry, to preach the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was then licensed by Pastor Wright to continue his gift, and on January 8th 1989 he received his certificate of ordination. After serving 19 years at the Greater Trinity Baptist Church, he was moved to join the Nazarene Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Ranna Edwards where he served as the associate minister for ten year, from 1993 to 2003. 2003: He was then moved to the Little Rock Baptist Church where the Reverend A.L. White is the pastor. After serving one year with the Little Rock Baptist Church prayers were answered in the year of our Lord, November 2004 Reverend Hansley was called to be the pastor of the Bell Mount Baptist Church that he may continue to uplift the name of Jesus Christ. Mr.Hansley will never be forgotten best man I knew my family loved him he preach at my mother funeral and married my daughter Stacy Charles’s Mrs Hansley I’m so sorry for your loss you have my deepest condolences

It saddens us to know that our grandfather and great-grandfather has passed away. We will miss his infectious smile and warm spirit. God never makes mistakes, and now he has another beautiful angel in the heavens above.
