He is survived by his wife Sutinder Kaur Chawla and two daughters, Bhanish Kaur (Rashminder Singh), Reena, his grandson Haramrit Singh and his brothers Harjinder Singh Chawla, Swaraj Singh Chawla, Daljit Singh Chawla and sisters Amrit Kaur Sadana, Devinder Kaur Banga back in India as well as many friends and family in Canada and United States.
