Austin Regan Welborn

Austin was born on February 14, 1987, to Regan and Michelle ReNee’ Welborn. He served our country in the United States Air Force as an Avionics Technician who tended to F-117s. After serving his time in the Air Force, Austin worked for FracTech in Longview, Texas and AT&T in Shreveport, Louisiana. Austin also had an entrepreneurial spirit and owned his own business, known as ArkLaTechs. His business offered ad hoc technical support.

Austin was an avid fan of The Texas Rangers baseball team.

In his free time Austin enjoyed music, playing guitar, working on vehicles, gaming with his brothers, bowling, racquetball, and taking lessons from Robert Browning of Longview. He recently began experimenting and enjoying woodworking art.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Michelle ReNee’ Welborn, his maternal grandparents, Larry and Darlene Hagen of Des Moines, IA, and his paternal grandparents, Vance and Vesta Welborn of Longview, Texas.

Austin is survived by his brothers, Preston and Hunter Welborn, Michael and Colten Lettington of Iowa, and his father, Regan Welborn. He is also survived by his aunts, Sandra Wooten, Carol Ellison, Cynthia Rodgers, and Maxine Lettington.

A visitation for Austin will be held Friday, January 31, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Lakeview Funeral Home, 5000 West Harrison Road, Longview, Texas followed by a celebration of life at 10:00 AM.
