Betty Anne Gilley

Betty was born September 25, 1944 in Houston, TX to Rada and Velma Fisher Smith. She attended the University of Texas at Arlington and obtained her masters degree in nursing. Betty was the first nurse practitioner in Gregg County and retired from the Department of Veteran Affairs Health Administration. She enjoyed traveling, reading, writing, and spending time with her family.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; sister Linda Burkhalter; brothers, Rada Leon; William Newell, Johnnie Frank and son-in-law, Thomas Campitiello. Betty is survived by her daughters, Holly Nadeau and husband, Brad, and Anna Campitiello; grandsons, James Fancher and wife Rachel, Charles Fancher, Renee Fancher, Thomas Campitiello II and partner, Jon Castleman, her great grandchildren, Shaylynn Fancher, Hayven Fancher, Marrah Fancher, Daegan Fancher, Adley Fancher, Vincent Fancher, Isabella Fancher, Elaina Fancher-Corbin, and a host of other family and friends.

Serving as honorary pallbearers are Greg Story, Keith Parker, Greg Scott, Vernon Freeman, Bro. Charles Hunt, Joe Campitiello, Paul Johnson and Jim Pullano.
