Betty passed away August 13, 2021 in Kilgore. She was born February 12, 1935 in Tyler to the late Irby and Myrtle Blaylock Dozier.
She worked as a medical transcriptionist for 50 plus years. When she wasn't working she loved to travel and to take trips on the train.
Betty is survived by her loving family, including her daughter, Karen Brown and her husband Tom of Kilgore; son, Keith Pittman and his wife Carol of Longview; six grandchildren, Becky, Beth, Bridget, Jake, Vickie and Stacy. She is also survived by a number of great grandchildren and a brother John Dozier of San Antonio.
