Billie Joe Morgan, 91, of Longview, TX passed away June 1, 2018 at his residence in Longview. He was born March 17, 1927 in Granby, MO to Ray and Lora Morgan. He served his country during WWII in the United States Navy. He married Madeline Peters and she preceded him in death on November 22, 2017. He worked as an accountant in the manufacturing industry before he retired and the two of them moved to Longview. He loved to golf, play bridge and work in his yard.
Mr. Morgan is survived by his daughter: Deborah LaGreca; brother: Jim Morgan and his wife Sheila as well as a number of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife; one son: Ronald A. Morgan; three sisters; and one brother.
A time of visitation with his family will be from 1 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at the Longview Church of Christ, 1401 Eden Drive, Longview, TX, with funeral services starting at 2 with Robert Johnson and Rick Webb officiating. Entombment will be at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Longview, TX. Services are under the direction of Lakeview Funeral Home.
