Services for Billy Gail Anderson, 60, of Longview, will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2011, at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, in the Mausoleum Chapel, with Rev. Jim Rust officiating. Entombment will follow services.
Mr. Anderson was born January 21, 1951, in Duncan, Oklahoma, to Gail Nolan and Helen Louise Anderson, and peacefully passed away March 4, 2011, at his residence in Longview, Texas.
Billy worked as an accountant where he had the fortune to travel and live in various countries around the world. Amoung his passions, was his love of all poetry, and served as a member in both the Rust County Poetry Society and East Texas Writer's Association.
Billy is survived by , cousin, Tiajuana Neel of Lake Cherokee; uncle, Berle Anderson of Lake Cherokee; uncle Glen Anderson of Longview; Dennis and Shirley Geerts of Garland; aunt Sue Gray of Choctaw, Oklahoma; and numerous cousins and other loving family members.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday at Lakeview Funeral Home.
