Bobbie Doris Bailey Casida LONGVIEW — Bobbie Doris Bailey Casida, 81 of Longview, died Monday, January 1, 2018. Bobbie was born May 27, 1936 in Seminole, Oklahoma to H.E. and Ruth Drake Bailey. Bobbie is survived by her husband: Ken, daughter: Dana Dolgener Griffin and son in law: Donny Griffin, sister’s: Donna Schroeder and Carolyn Howard, nephew’s: Mark Schroeder and wife Debbie, Jeff Schroeder, Matt Howard and wife Joni, niece: Kari McDaniel and husband Rick, great nephew’s: Michael Schroeder and wife Mandy, and Justin Schroeder, great niece’s: Holly Howard and Devin McDaniel, great great niece’s: Brittney, Brooklynn and Brinnlee Schroeder and True Howard, great great nephew: Rylan Howard and her beloved pets. A memorial service will be at Lakeview Funeral Home Friday February 23, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Bobbie graduated from Seminole High School in1954. She was a cheerleader, crowned basketball queen and participated in many other clubs and activities in school. She loved going back to Seminole, OK. to attend all her class reunion’s. When she was in the eighth grade, she moved to White Oak, TX. and attended school there. After a short time, her family moved back to Seminole, OK. A couple of year’s later, she decided to move back to White Oak, TX. She became employed at Longview Bank & Trust when the bank first opened in 1958. She was an officer and head teller and her customer’s loved her. After 20 year’s, she retired in 1978. Bobbie and Ken were married 41 year’s. Ken was a pilot and through the year’s they went on many trips together. She loved taking care of her great nephew Michael Schroeder when he was a child. He went on many trips with them in Ken’s airplane. And continued doing the same with his girls, Brittney, Brooklynn and Brinnlee. She also enjoyed taking care of her great niece Holly Howard and great nephew Jake Howard and going on many trips with them as well. She attended every sports game, dance class or any activity they had at school. She is preceded in death by her son: Joe Keith LaClaire, parents: Ruth & H.E., grandparents: Nanny & Daddy Bill, brother in law: Larry Howard and great nephew: Jake Howard. She loved animals and enjoyed rescuing and finding good homes for them. The family would like to thank Wynette, Cassie, C.Hill and all the staff at Heart 2 Heart Hospice for all their love and exceptional care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Partnership for Pets Longview, Tx. or any animal rescue or shelter of your choice.
