

Brian David Marcantel, 46, of Kilgore, Texas passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2013 in Houston, Texas. He was born on March 22, 1967 in the New Orleans, LA area to Alex-Marc and Rosemary Provost Marcantel. Brian has been in and around the oilfield all of his life. He was someone that knew anything about everything having to do with the oilfield. He was a service manager and worked in outside sales for Cameron International. He married Karen Towne on 10- 10-2010 at a friend’s house in Kilgore.
Brian loved life. He lived life to the fullest each and every day, whether it was going hunting, riding four wheelers, or cooking out. He especially enjoyed giving everyone a hard time.
He is survived by his wife: Karen Marcantel of Kilgore; twin daughters: Charli and Morgan Marcantel of Kilgore, daughter: Alexis Marcantel of Katy, TX; son: Tyler Duke of Deer Park, TX; Daughter: Casey Marcantel of Magnolia, TX; stepdaughters: Bobbie Johnson and her husband Jared of Connecticut, Cindi Richardson and her husband Derrick of Cedar Hill, TX, Kristi Latham and her husband Paul of Kilgore; grandchildren: Bryson, Makinlee, Caysen, Madison, Julliana, Alek, and Mason; parents: Alex and Rosemary Marcantel of Houston; Sister: Gwen Richoux and her husband Shannon of Thibodaux, LA; brother: Craig Marcantel and his wife Susan of Houston; nieces and nephews: Grace, Grant, Emily and Amanda. He is preceded in death by his brother, Keith.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at the Chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home with burial to follow at Danville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, June 28, 2013 at the funeral home.
