Carolyn Dale Thomas Meyers

Carolyn Dale Meyers, 64, of Longview, Texas passed away on February 10, 2013 at a local hospital. Mrs. Meyers was born on March 9, 1948 in Longview, to Aarie Alton and Falvie Lorene Thomas. She graduated from Longview High School in 1965. She has managed various apartment complexes in the Longview area throughout her lifetime. She married Randall Meyers on May 15, 1983 in Longview. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren and family as well as signing up for various sweepstakes offers and winning them.

She is survived by her husband Randall of Longview, daughter: Karen League and her husband Steve of Gilmer; grandchildren: Jeni Blevins and her husband Zach of Gilmer, Carly Navarro and her husband Juan of Gilmer, Cody League and his wife Lauren of Lakeport, Cory League of Longview; Chosen Grandchildren: Ashley Bailey and Justin Juarez of Longview; brother-in-law: Robert Meyers; a number of nieces and nephews; Special friends: Pate Greening, John Spivey, and Linda McGill; the father of her daughter: Danny Rosewell. She was preceded in death by her parents, great grandchild: “Baby Grace”; and chosen daughter: Wendy Diane. The family would like to say a Very Special “Thank You” to the doctors and nurses at Select Specialty Hospital in Longview for their kindness during our time of need.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the Chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home with Rev. David McGee officiating. Visitation will start at 1:00 and go until service time on Saturday.
