Justin and Valerie,
We were saddened to hear of your Dad's passing. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
While building ball fields for LBBA, Cecil of was going to man the hose for the field. When they turned the water on, the pressure was so great that it lifted him smooth off his feet, resulting in a lot of colorful language and laughter. Your Dad was a one of the good guys.

I was saddened by the news of Cecil’s passing. Valerie and I went to school together and my junior year I worked part time in the maintenance office for the work program at Sabine. I was blessed to get to know Cecil and also see him everyday. He was a kind, humble man. He loved his family so much and spoke of them often.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family today and in the days to come. You all are so blessed to have had him in your life.

Graduated w/ your daughter so I got to witness your hard work & dedication to Sabine ISD. You was a big reason that school district looked good & operated the way it did. You raised your family the right way & I’m thankful I have a friend in your daughter. Rest well my friend.

Sorry to hear of Cecil"s passing, I remember to this day of us playing baseball. I remember he was a pretty good first baseman who could hit the ball good. I also worked with his wife Leigh at the post office for many years. Ricky Todd

Mr. Cecil has been an amazing neighbor/friend for over 20 + years.. this is an amazing tribute the heavenly reunion between he and the love of his life Mrs. Leigh.. I know she hates him to leave those here on earth sad with him now joining her, but will be oh so ready to welcome him home again. Love and peace to the Baker/Longmire family. We're a shout over the fence still if/when you need us!
Lots of Love,
Jalisa/Jeff Thompson
