Christina Burgess

Christina Pittman Burgess, born on December 23, 1963, in Gilmer, Texas, passed away on December 16, 2025, at the age of 61. She was the beloved daughter of Addison Irby Pittman and Dollie Mae Thornburgh Pittman.

Christina was a devoted mother of four children, whom she considered her greatest achievements. Her career included 11 years of dedicated service at McDonald's, a role she enjoyed immensely.

She leaves behind her cherished children: Brandy and Adam Kinnerson, Adam and Elaina Burgess, Tim Burgess, and Christopher Cody Burgess, all from Massillon, Ohio. Her legacy extends to her grandchildren: Liz, Bruce, Alice, and Zelda Kinnerson, as well as Rylee, Gabriella, Lilliee, and Alexander Burgess. Christina also had numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

Her siblings include Johnny and Diana Pittman of Pritchett, Texas; Donny and Glenda Pittman of Gilmer, Texas; Ronny Pittman of Pritchett, Texas; Monty Pittman of Gilmer, Texas; Pam and Rick Stokes of Nacogdoches, Texas; and Patrick Pittman of Gilmer, Texas. She was predeceased by her father Addison Irby Pittman, her mother Dollie Mae Pittman, and her sister Connie Lavern Pittman.

Christina found joy in her personal interests, which included listening to gospel music and having the Bible read to her. She was also known for her excellent cooking skills.

A committed member of The Calvary Baptist Church in Gladewater, Texas, Christina was actively involved in her community and will be remembered fondly by those who knew her.
