Dustin Walters

Dustin was born on December 28, 1979 to Susan K. and Bobby Howard Walters in Longview, Texas. He attended Sabine High School and thereafter attended Texas A&M; studying to become an EMT and Paramedic. After completing the program he began working for the Sabine Fire Department and served as Assistant Fire Chief for many years. Dustin also served some time as an armed security guard and operated a tow-truck for an insurance company. He was a member of Gospel Lighthouse Church of Laird Hill.

Dustin's hobbies included riding his motorcycle and mastering the martial art of Taekwondo in which he earned a black belt.

Dustin is preceded in death by both his paternal and maternal grandparents; and his father, Bobby Howard Walters.

Dustin is survived by his mother, Susan K. Walters; sister Bobbi Geiser; daughter Lyndsi Ray and her family; sons Bobby H. Walters, and Justin Walters; as well as additional family and friends.

A time of visitation will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Lakeview Funeral Home, followed by A Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM.
