Edward Francis

Eddie was born in El Reno, OK to Wayne Hoaks and Verlidene Hoaks and was raised in Anadarko, OK and went on to get his GED and join the Marines. He ranked Sergeant in the Vietnam War from 1966-1970. He married Sheryl Francis in 1986 and the couple had 5 children. Eddie was a Truck Driver and Scuba Instructor. In his spare time, Eddie enjoyed scuba diving, leather work, and wood work.

Eddie is survived by his: wife, Sheryl; 5 sons, Eric Francis (Jennifer), Dusty Francis, JD Kraus, Jason Francis (Trina), and Jerame Fletcher (Tiffany); brother, Carlos Luse; grandkids, Amber Florey (John Michael), Ashley Gable (Allen), Autumn Francis, Desirae Self (Chris), Kristian Whitehead (Kendall), Jessica Schwarz (Joseph II), James Jacobs (Kiya), Dylan Fletcher, Nickolos Kraus, Aidyn Francis, Leah Wilson (Justice), and Timothy Wynn; great-grandkids, Mila, Dallin, Madelynn, Eli, Phoenix, Polly, Piper, Parker, Elijah, Dallas, Riverlynn, Marleigh, Noah, Eli, Bethany, Matthew, and Oliver; brother-in-law, Mike Martin, and sister-in-law, Deb West; nieces, Sheila, Cindy, and many more; nephews, Cody Brown, Justin West, and many more; many cousins.

A visitation will be held at Lakeview Funeral Home, located at 5000 West Harrison Road, Longview, TX, 75604, on February 12, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

A Celebration of Life will take place at the same venue on February 13, 2026, starting at 10:00 am.

Following the Celebration of Life, a committal service will be held at Lakeview Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 5000 W Harrison Rd, Longview, TX, 75604.
