Eleanor Ann Simmons Chandler

Eleanor Ann Chandler, 73, of Longview, Texas passed away on January 10, 2013 at a local nursing home. She was born on May 4, 1939 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to Herman and Bessie Simmons. She enjoyed playing bingo, visiting with her friends and participating in all of the activities at the Pine Tree Lodge.

She is survived by her son: Roger Chandler and his wife Ellen of Longview; daughter: Tracy Hall and her husband Rocky of Hot Springs, Ark; stepsons: Bruce Chandler and his wife Kay of Alma, GA, Barry Chandler and his wife Jo of Little Rock, Ark; grandchildren: Callie Saxton and her husband Jim, Hannah Chandler, Casey Reynolds and her husband Woody, Cody Hall, Lance Chandler, Kristi Winkle, Nikki Gazelle, and Barry Chandler, Jr.; eight great grandchildren; her twin brother: Robert Simmons; Sisters: Ruth Johnson and Virginia Hubbard; and her special friend: Brenda Johnson, the Activities Director at Pine Tree Lodge. She is preceded in death by her parents, one stepson: Bobby Chandler, sister: Helen Finley, brothers: Theodore Simmons, Harold Simmons, and Duke Simmons.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the Chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Norvell officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2013 at the funeral home.
