Eveline Baker

Eveline was a devoted wife and Mother. Her life’s passion was to share the Gospel with anyone who would listen. She taught many children Vacation Bible School in her home, and in the homes of others. She taught discipleship and Gospel classes to individuals in her community and at church. Eveline loved to dance, sew, and craft. Eveline and George were members of the Conroe Country Cousins and square danced for many years. They cherish those friendships and have many fond memories of that time.

Preceded in death by her parents Albert Lambright, Dorothy Rawlinson and stepfather Kenneth Rawlinson.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years George C. Baker, siblings Harold Lambright and spouse Dee of Marshall, Tx, and step brother Rodney Rawlinson and spouse Peggy of Harleton, Tx.

Her children Beverly Johnson and spouse Troy of Longview, Tx, son Jeffery Baker and spouse Talia of Montgomery, Tx.

Grandchildren Shane Johnson of Longview Tx, and Girlfriend Sarah Brown, of Flatwoods, WV, JJ Baker and spouse Louise of Diana, Tx, Shannon Rachal and spouse Alex of Hallsville, TX, Jessica Mathis and spouse Justin of Millen, GA, Gilbert Baker of Montgomery, Tx and fiancé Abigail Collier of Spring, Tx, and Jakob Baker of Montgomery, Tx.

Great Grandchildren Melonie Baker, Landon Rachal, Allen Baker, George Baker, Madalyn Baker, Lillie Rachal, Jack Baker, Geremiah Baker, and Logan Rachal.

Eveline will be missed dearly by her family and friends. Know that she is rejoicing in Heaven. She will forever be in our hearts and memories.

A time of visitation with her family will be held Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lakeview Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 5000 West Harrison Road, Longview, Texas 75604. A celebration of her life will occur Friday, November 3, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Lakeview Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens.
