She was born December 24, 1929, in Texarkana, TX. Mrs. Hayes retired after many years from Memorial Hospital in Marshall, TX.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years Theodore R. Hayes and her youngest son, Douglas T. Hayes. Evelyn is survived by her son, Larry T. Hayes and wife Charlene; daughter, Kathy D. Hayes; four grandchildren, Julie Ober; Melanie de Valdez and husband Rob; Cynthia Floyd and husband Rob; and William Hayes and wife Marisa. She is also survived by five great grandchildren, Rodney Hayes; Charley Ober; Maddie Floyd; Gracie Floyd; and Holden Hayes.
Mom, Grandma, and Great Grandma will be greatly missed by all.
Yet we rejoice in the fact of her entrance into Heaven, where she reunited with those of great love to her.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, November 17, 2017, at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
