Ginger “Gayle” Cerio passed away Sunday, August 14th, 2022, surrounded by family.
Ginger was born in Dallas, February 19th, 1970, then lived in East Texas, except for her routine trips to Hollywood! She was an actress that has credits in movies including Olympus has Fallen and Drive Angry among many others. She was a regular actor in the local indie film circuit. Her love of acting started from a very young age, and at the age of 14 she was offered to join The Young and the Restless, but she had to let the role go. Ginger had gone on to appear on television, screen, radio, and stage. Her personality was bigger than life. Her exuberance will not be forgotten by those whose lives she has touched. She will forever be our “Movie Star.”
Ginger was preceded in death by her son Christopher Paul Chipman; father, Marvin Cole; sisters, Marlotte Harold and Cynthia Wright. Ginger leaves behind her doting husband of 19 years, Christopher Cerio; her devoted son, Josiah Cerio to whom she passed her love of acting; two loving daughters, Ariel Chipman and Alyssa Huber; as well as grand-babies, Sadie Stone, Sterling Huber, and Rowan Huber all of which called her “Grammy”; a loving mother, Donna Green; her loving sister Tonya Jones; and a brother Glen Beard.
She was a loving wife, nurturing mother, wonderful sister, and lifelong friend that never stopped caring for all who were around her.
Following the service, a remembrance gathering will be held at the home of Scott and Tonya Jones at 7 Iris Cir. Longview TX 75601.
In place of flowers, please make donations to Texas Lyme Disease Association.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.lakeviewfh.com for the Cerio family.
