Gloria “June” Daniels Peters-Bradford was born June 30, 1935 in Plain Dealing, LA. She passed away Monday, January 11, 2021 at a nursing facility in Longview, TX. June attended school in Rodessa, LA and graduated from Vocational-Technical School as an LPN in Shreveport, LA. She was a member of the Longview Seventh Day Adventist Church for many years. June was preceded in death by her parents, James Uyless Daniels and Gussie Endsley Daniels of Rodessa, LA; sister, Debbie Hawkins of Kilgore, TX; and brother, Jerry Daniels of Longview, TX. She is survived by her brother, James Thomas Daniels and Winnie of Bivins, TX; sister, Linda Jill Norris and Tom Norris of White Oak, TX; children, Michael Peters and Janie of Kilgore, TX, Sandy Engel and Allen of White Oak, TX, and Kelly Peters and Cindy of Lufkin, TX; grandchildren, Cody Peters and Amy of Kilgore, TX, Jamie Peterson and Heather of Gladewater, TX, Stephanie and Shawn Humphrey of Jefferson, TX, Brandon and Amy Fry of Williston, ND, Jarred and Katrina Fry of Longview, TX, and Meagan and Seth Tulia of Flint, TX; 17 great grandchildren; ten great- great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends who loved her dearly. A Celebration of June’s Life will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, January 14, 2021 at The Lakeview Mausoleum Chapel. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1-2 p.m. Entombment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
