

She was born in Matthews, Missouri on August 26, 1931 to Leonard and Della (Alberson) Greenlee. She met and married Robert Haberberger in November of 1949. They were married 62 years and had two children, Elizabeth Ann and Ricky Allen.
She was retired as a bookkeeper from the Salvation Army, where she worked for 42 years with Brigadier and Ms. Virgil Potter. She was an active member of the Salvation Army church family until her illness prevented her attendance. She belonged to the Salvation Army Home League for many years and worked with various charities throughout the community. Her unwavering faith in Christ sustained her through many trials and tribulations life would bring her way.
Imogene enjoyed many interests including family, crafts and reading. Her greatest interest was her family and close friends. She was a caregiver to her mother-in-law, close friends, Mr. and Mrs. Potter, and her beloved husband, Robert. Her smile was infectious and made everyone around her smile.
Imogene was preceded in death by her parents: Leonard and Della (Alberson) Greenlee; her husband: Robert Haberberger; her children: Elizabeth Ann and Ricky Allen; four sisters: Delores Rettig, Laura Meunier, Bettie Jo Greenlee and Pola Jean Lee; three brothers: Ambrose Greenlee, JH Greenlee and Allen Greenlee.
She is survived by her three grandchildren: Paula, Steven, and Erin; one sister: Frances Meldurm and her husband, John Meldrum of Marietta, TX; one brother: Leonard Ray (Pete) Greenlee and his wife Naomi of West Plains, MO;
three sisters-in-law: Georgia Greenlee of Wappapello, MO, Beverly Reak of Wichita Falls, TX, and Norma Lott of Gillette, WY; as well as many nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, cousins and friends. All of them have special memories to recall of Imogene. She will be missed immensely.
The family will receive visitors at Lakeview Funeral Home, Longview, TX on Friday, December 9, 2016 from 5 to 7:00 p.m.. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the Lakeview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. Entombment will follow at the Lakeview Mausoleum with Major John Queener officiating.
