Johnny Ray Odom

Born in Longview, a graduate of Pine Tree, and an Army veteran, Mr. Odom was a resident of White Oak for over 50 years where he raised his family. He was employed at LeTourneau, Inc., Continental Can until its closing, and White Oak ISD.

He is preceded in death by his parents Johnnie and Maxine Odom and sister, Margie Pepper. Those left to mourn his passing include his four daughters and their husbands, Lisa and Barry Blaylock of White Oak, Tina and John Millwood of White Oak, Rebecca and Brian Malik of San Marcos, and Sarah and Mike Barnes of Kilgore and his son, John Odom of White Oak. In addition, his grandchildren, Jeremy Blaylock and wife Jessica, Jennifer Bodovsky and husband Allen, A.J. Blaylock, Simuel Millwood, Colton Millwood, Amelia Malik, Sophia Malik, and Aryah Barnes. As well as four great grandchildren, his surviving sisters, Linda Madewell and Susan Vickery and husband Dennis, and numerous other family members and friends.

A time of visitation with his family will be held Sunday, November 12, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Lakeview Funeral Home, 5000 W. Harrison Road, Longview, TX 75604, followed by a celebration of his life at 2:00 PM.
