Joseph Perkins, 77, of Gilmer, TX passed away on Monday, July 28, 2014. He was born on October 31, 1936 in Elk Valley, TN to Leonard and Etta Martin Perkins. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1956-1962. He worked as a radio technician for General Motors.
He is preceded in death by his wife Loretta Perkins; mother and father-Leonard and Etta Martin Perkins;
and brothers: James and Curtis Perkins. He is survived by his daughters: Barbara Perkins and Linda Fillman and her husband William; grandchildren: Charles and Erica Fillman; sisters: Delores Richards and Diana Bridges; and brother: Robert Perkins.
