Carroll was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Barbara (McKinney) Hollowell, siblings John David Hollowell, Louise Williams, and James Fletcher, one grandson, Jordan Sanders, and son-in-law Jerry Green.
He is survived by his children, Rynetta Farmer and husband Tommy of Ft. Worth, TX, Faye Robertson and husband Scott of Gilmer, TX, Jerry Hollowell and wife Terri of Diana, TX, Terry Hollowell and wife Darla of Longview, TX, Tammy Green of Longview, TX, Lisa Sanders and husband Billy of Gilmer, TX, 15 Grandchildren, and 30 Great-grandchildren.
A time of visitation with his family will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A time of visitation with his family will be held Thursday, February 27, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A celebration of life will be held Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 2:00 PM.
