Larry Don Griffin, of Longview, was born to William and Earline Griffin on September 25th, 1943 and passed away March 17th, 2019. Larry served with the Military Police in Korea for 3 years. He was a loving husband and devoted father. Larry was the type of Christian man that would give the shirt off his back for anyone. He loved his family, was a hard worker and could do anything. Larry was the owner of his own company, Judson Sheet Metal, for 37 years. He loved hunting and fishing and would take the boys out of school to go camping every Friday during season. Larry was a faithful member of the Remnent and Life Bridge churches. He will be missed by his beloved four legged friend, Chewy.
Larry is survived by his wife Paulette Griffin. Daughters Jenny Hodge and husband John and McKynzee Griffin. Sons Roger Griffin and Randall Griffin Sr. Grandchildren Ryan Adams, Christopher Edwards, Amanda Griffin, Kelcey Pilgrim, Randall Griffin Jr., William Gene Griffin, Taylor Griffin, Isaiah Murphy, Niko Harris, Blaine Griffin, Colt Griffin, William Wayne, Ned Griffin and 8 great-grandchildren. He is proceeded in death by parents; son, Clifton Griffin and sister, Joanna Green.
Larry’s visitation will be held at Lakeview Funeral Home on Friday, March 22nd, 2019 at 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., and his funeral services will be on the following Saturday, March 23rd, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.
